The "Hidden Books" Challenge
Think you know the Bible pretty well? How about the names of the books of the Bible?
The paragraph below contains the names of 21 books of the Bible.
It's fun, but it's not as simple as it looks. How many names can you find?
I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu; kept people looking so hard for facts...and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized. But the truth finally struck home to numbers of our
readers. To others it was a real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found. A little
lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. We chronicle some of the letters we get, and once in a while we add to this paragraph from answers we receive. Some suggestions contain puns that are so bad, I (ahem) can’t take their punishment! Others write us letters, begging me: "Joe!
Let me in on the secret." Well, here it is: besides ignoring capitalization, we sometimes format the words themselves, to hide the "treasure" in them. All right - it’s time to get started! See how well you can compete. Relax now, for there really are twenty one names of books of the Bible in this
paragraph

The Bible in 50 Words??
If the 66 books of the Bible seem a bit too much for you, you might enjoy the "Reader's Digest" version someone recently shared with us. The original author is unknown, but this paragraph
manages to summarize the entire Bible in only 50 words. We thought you might enjoy it...
